A new mission team member has arrived!

It is with great joy that we announce the arrival of Theo Jordan Pruitt.

Theo, which is a well-known name in Portuguese and English, derives from the Greek work for “God”. Jordan, name of the river, derives from the Hebrew word for “flowing or descending from”. And that’s how we named him: our blessing that descended from God.

He was born on Monday, the 18th of June, at 4:27am, weighing 9 pounds and 5 ounces, at 20 inches. We were all surprised with this pretty big baby!

Alice, our firstborn who is now 2 years old, is in love with the new member of the family. She doesn’t want to miss a second of his daily routine and wants to participate in it as much as possible. She loves to cuddle him and sing for him.

Lívia and I haven’t had much sleep in the past week, but we are very thankful to have Theo home with us. Now we need to figure out how to be parents of two.

Thank you for your prayers for our family and for joining us in our celebration.
