12 teachers, 17 courses, and over 200 students registererd. Those are the numbers for our latest period at the School of the Bible at downtown Recife and we couldn’t have been more grateful.

The School of the Bible is a ministry operated by the Boa Vista congregation and has the purpose of bringing the Word of God to the community. This is done by offering Bible and ESL (English as a second language) courses.

Most of our teachers are volunteer church members who set aside some time from their busy schedule to serve their students. They not only teach their courses, but they build relationships with the students helping bridge the gap between the school and our church family.

Please keep this ministry in your prayers and we continue to reach out to the lost souls in our city. Our prayer is that the open doors of our school will eventually open their hearts to the saving work for our Lord.
