New Classes at The School of The Bible

This month (August), schools here return from our winter break. The same is true for classes at the School of the Bible. We begin a new period offering several Bible, Theology and English as a Second Language courses.

This period we have 11 teachers and 13 different courses. Some of the topics being taught include How to Read and Understand the Bible, Introduction to the Bible, Discipleship Formation, Biblical Theology and others. Courses like Basic and Conversation English are important entry courses for the unchurched to awaken an interest to study the Bible, as we use it for our text.

We have also taken the first steps for an important and exciting new project at the School of the Bible. Soon we will be launching our first online course “Bible for Beginners”. This will allow us to have a larger reach, potentially all of Brazil and the Portuguese speaking world (280 million). Our goal is twofold: to make Bible study as accessible as possible and to create connections between online students and local churches.

We ask that you keep the students and teachers in your prayers as we build relationships throughout the next 10 weeks of classes, so that God would open the doors for us to share the Gospel.
