Zé Gomes (63 years old) was baptized today. He is a very hard working man, an excellent gardener. At first he started coming to the church to fix the yard and became friends with several people in our congregation. Later, he started to come to our services.
 
Six years ago Zé Gomes lost his 19 year old son because of  5 dollars and a pair of shoes in a mugging. This has caused his wife to suffer from depression since. He found in God and his church the comfort that he needs to go on with  life. We are all very happy about his decision. Please pray that his whole family is encouraged by his decision.
